Blair LM Kelly’s Author Talk

Kelley explores the historical and social roots of the Black working class, delving into the lives and struggles of everyday people who have often been overlooked in discussions of African American history. With a focus on the 20th century, Kelley examines how Black workers have navigated racism, economic exploitation, and political disenfranchisement to build communities and fight for their rights.

At this event, Kelley will discuss her research and insights, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in thoughtful discussion. Copies of "Black Folk" will be available for purchase, and Kelley will be signing books following the discussion.

Don't miss this chance to deepen your understanding of Black working-class history and learn from one of the leading voices in the field.
